Golf cart ride through Walmart leads to charge for violent crimes

A sudden turn of events in anyone's day could have unexpected outcomes. Some people may decide to throw caution to the wind and carry out behaviors that seem drastic. Unfortunately, this type of event could result in criminal charges, including those for violent crimes, under certain circumstances.

It was recently reported that one man in Florida was taken into custody after an incident at an area Walmart. Apparently, the man was driving a golf cart and had blocked the entrance to the Walmart liquor store. He reportedly wanted to speak to a manager, but authorities were called to the scene due to the commotion. Authorities approached the man, and he drove his golf cart through the main entrance of the Walmart.

He struck multiple shoppers with the cart before crashing into a cash register. It was noted that some shoppers were injured and treated by paramedics, and the man was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. He is currently facing multiple criminal charges, including felony criminal mischief, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. He was reported as being 56 years old.

Charges for violent crimes are often difficult to address, and this Florida man's case has unique details that will certainly need assessing as he considers his criminal defense options. As he awaits the next steps in his case, he may want to gain as much information as possible about his available legal options. Finding a course of action that he feels comfortable pursuing may allow him to also feel more confident as his case moves forward.
