Florida authorities take man into custody for DUI, no license

There is a vast amount of information available for individuals facing criminal charges. Of course, it can be difficult to determine what information is factual and what may be less reliable. Fortunately, if individuals are facing charges for DUI, they do not have to rely on a search engine to gain the right knowledge to address their cases.

One man in Florida may be looking to obtain reliable information after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that authorities had been alerted to the man after he allegedly bumped into the car in front of his multiple times while in a fast food drive thru line. When police located the man, they allegedly saw an open bottle of alcohol sitting in the passenger seat. Authorities also stated the man had an odor of alcohol about him.

When questioned, the man purportedly told police that he had not been drinking and driving as he only took drinks while at stop signs or traffic signals. The man also did not have a state driver's license. As a result, he was taken into custody on charges of DUI and driving without a license.

In order to work toward the best outcomes possible for his DUI case, the man will certainly want to understand his legal options. Gaining information on criminal defense strategies, Florida state DUI laws and other related information could help him determine his most viable course of action. Utilizing local legal resources could help him ensure that the knowledge he gains is accurate and applies to his specific case.
