Aggravated assault charge leveled against Florida woman

Individuals can sometimes have unexpected reactions to certain situations. When a person is faced with a difficult predicament, he or she may act out of pure emotion rather than thinking through the logical options. Unfortunately, when an individual acts impulsively, police may become involved, and charges for assault or other allegations could fall upon that person.

One woman in Florida is currently facing criminal charges after an alleged event. Reports stated that the woman purportedly had an affair with her daughter's 33-year-old husband, and the man informed his wife about the situation. As a result, the 58-year-old woman apparently became distraught after learning that her daughter knew about the affair as it ruined her relationship with her daughter.

The woman allegedly went to the man's home and threw eggs before reportedly attempting to strike the man with her vehicle. Authorities arrived on the scene while the woman was purportedly driving in circles in the man's yard. As a result, the woman is currently facing allegations of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released from custody after posting bond in the amount of $3,000.

Charges relating to any type of assault are serious, and the Florida woman involved in this incident may want to approach her case in a meaningful manner. Though she may hold some disbelief that she ended up facing such circumstances, she may want to take control of the situation as best as possible. Learning more about her defense options and how to implement useful strategies during her case may prove beneficial.
