JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Maddie Clifton's killer will be resentenced and
his brain development will be reviewed by an expert, a judge decided Thursday.
Attorney George Fallis in court involving a former officer pleading not
guilty for an alleged beating.
A dozen years ago it was legal to execute someone convicted of murder for
a crime that occurred when the defendant was younger than 18.
Michael Ray Haim, accused in the 1993 slaying of his wife, can get out
of jail now that the 1st District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee ordered
a Jacksonville judge to give him a reasonable bail.
