Defense info may help Florida man with DUI charge

It is a simple fact of life that everyone makes mistakes at some point. For some, those mistakes may have little consequence, and for others, the error of their ways could result in a serious legal situation. When a person is charged with DUI, he or she may want to avoid the mistake of approaching the case unprepared.

One man in Florida will likely be looking into his defense options after recently being charged. Reports stated that the man was allegedly driving a vehicle when he struck a parked car. After hitting that vehicle, the man then reportedly collided with the back of a police department vehicle. Three officers were near the vehicle at the time. The incident resulted in those three officers suffering minor injuries as a result.

Police reportedly suspected that the driver of the vehicle was under the influence. However, specific details on what caused these suspicions were not provided. It was simply noted that the man exhibited "obvious indicators" that led to his arrest. Additionally, the man reportedly did not submit to a breath test. He was taken into custody on charges of DUI with property damage.

The man may have a variety of options when it comes to dealing with DUI allegations that have been leveled against him. In order to obtain a better understanding of those possible options and Florida criminal proceedings, he may wish to utilize local legal resources for reliable information. Creating a meaningful defense could allow him to work toward the outcomes he desires for his legal predicament.
